Lisette Degioanni
Lisette was born in Tangiers, Morocco, to Italian and Portuguese parents. She was initially schooled in France before moving to Spain as a teenager. Lisette relocated to the UK in 1982 and lived in Scotland for many years before returning to Spain.
She studied History of Art and Architecture at Kingston University, followed by Ceramics and Fine Art at London Guildhall University. She graduated from Grays School of Art, Aberdeen, in 2007 and was awarded the Royal Scottish Academy David Gordon Memorial Trust Award and the John Kinross travelling scholarship to Florence.
Lisette’s work is represented in various galleries in the UK and was shown at the Venice Biennale in 2011. She has works in the Royal Scottish Academy permanent collection and in the Richard Demarco collection.
